What is it?
A lightweight web chat that suggests recipes, ingredient swaps, and step-by-step guidance based on what you type. No accounts. No tracking pixels. Just a simple chat.
How it works
- Type or paste what you’ve got and what you feel like cooking.
- Your message is sent securely to an AI service and the reply is sent back to the site.
- Saved chats live only in your browser; there’s no server-side database for your history.
Privacy
Local storage
Saved chats are stored in localStorage on this device (e.g., key yt_ai_draft for drafts). Clearing your browser data removes them. The live conversation is held temporarily in memory on the server to keep context and is not persisted.
What’s sent
When you press Send, your message is processed by an AI service over HTTPS. This server keeps a short in-memory session history for context and does not persist it to a database.
Tip: avoid sharing sensitive personal or payment information in any AI chat.
Current limitations
- Image attachments are not processed yet (text-only responses).
- Responsive design is being refined; behavior may vary by device/browser.
- Suggestions are informational - always check allergies and doneness to your preference.
